Friends of two young students killed in a horrific crash on the Kings Highway on the weekend are being offered counselling and support by the Australian National University.

The two young men, both Chinese nationals aged between 18 and 19, were killed after their silver Holden Astra sedan hit a gum tree near Braidwood on Sunday.
The crash also left a third victim in hospital with serious abdominal injuries.
ANU Vice-Chancellor Professor Ian Young issued a statement today expressing shock and sadness at the loss of life.
"We extend our deepest sympathies to the families of students who have died. Our wishes and hopes rest also with the injured student and family," he said.
"ANU has been working closely with NSW police and the families in recent days to do everything possible to assist and ease the pain for family members,
"Many ANU students have been deeply distressed by the tragedy, both in residences, and the broader university, and counselling and support services are available for anyone who needs them."
The deaths added to a horrific long weekend on the roads around the ACT.
A 32-year-old woman from Forrest was also killed after a car veered off the road and hit a tree near Jindabyne yesterday.
The woman died at the scene, while a 40-year-old man from Yarralumla was taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
Musician Brian Burdett and his daughters Sky, 10, and Kayla, 8, were killed in a head-on collision on the Kings Highway on Friday.
The family was travelling towards Braidwood when their car and a black Mitsubishi Outlander, travelling east towards the south coast, collided.
Three people in the Outlander suffered non life-threatening injuries and two were reportedly transported to Canberra Hospital.
The spate of fatal crashes has prompted a detailed safety review of the Kings Highway by the NSW Government.
That move has been welcomed by ACT Opposition Leader Zed Seselja, who urged the ACT Government to assist with the review in any way it could.
"There are relatively inexpensive ways to improve the roads safety, such as adding shoulders and barriers, which need to be considered as part of the review," he said.
"There have been too many accidents and fatalities on the Kings Highway and it is high time the NSW Government takes a serious look at reasonable upgrades to the road."
