Police are looking for witnesses after a gun-wielding robber held up a supermarket in Canberra's far south on Friday night.

ACT police say the robbery occurred at about 8pm on October 14.
A man approached a staff member at the back of the IGA supermarket in Isabella Plains, armed with a gun and demanding cash.
He escorted the employee into the store and was given a sum of money, after which he fled on foot through the rear of the premises.
Police say the offender has a slim build, is about 178cm (5'10") tall with blue/green eyes. He was wearing a black balaclava, black clothing and brown work boots.
