Police, fire, ambulance and SES officers around the nation let loose with their facial hair in November as part of Movember, the now global charity that focuses on improving men's health.
Mo Bros go the facial hair; Mo Sistas also pitch in by hosting events, fundraising or donning their own faux mo.
The emergency services formed their own Triple Zero Challenge, which attracted 144 teams and almost 1500 members from around the country, raising a pretty damn impressive $364,953. To be precise.
The Best Mo - as selected by an expert panel of judges at Mo HQ - has recently been awarded to Canberra's own Commander Mick Chew.
He is acting National Manager of People, Safety and Security for the AFP based here in the national capital.
And you certainly weren't going to miss his mo.
Commander Chew is a long-time supporter of Movember but this year's effort was "by far his best", according to sources.
The AFP team raised just shy of $10,000 this year.
The AFP Commissioner Andrew Colvin, who also participated in this year's Movember for the first time, presented Commander Chew with the Best Mo award. With both men now clean-shaven, we hope the prize included some nice Old Spice aftershave or similar.
