She-Riff is a regular Canberra event which showcases female musicians. This June 24 event will be Volume 6 and the event continues to draw a wide range of musicians.
Ayla's debut single Wish I Was came in at #15 on the 2014 Triple J most played playlist. Her latest single Like The Other Kids is also on high rotation.
Teen Jesus and the Jean Teasers have gone from strength to strength, five 16-year-olds who have spiced up the local scene. This will be their second appearance at She-Riff.
Okinawa Girls is a newish Canberra two-piece band, featuring Laura Milkovits of The Baby Shakers fame, and Nathan Gubler, who has previously performed solo as The Blade Winner.
The brain-child of local musician Kristy Anderson, the lead singer and guitarist of local band Sally Chicane, She-Riff kicked off a year ago and has garnered great support from the local scene, and increasingly so, from artists outside Canberra.
