The painting by John Webber actually depicts Captain James Cook, but the likeness to our Deputy Prime Minister is uncanny.
At least, that's according to Google's new Arts and Culture app.
Welcome, Canberra, to the strange world of the "art selfie". Released this month, but only available in Australia for the past few days, the app invites users to submit a photo for Google's "artistic consideration".
It then picks out your doppelganger from its vast database of international artworks using facial recognition technology.
So, in the interest of - ahem - artistic appreciation, we thought we'd find out where some of the most famous faces you see in Canberra are hanging up around the world.
(I'd already tested the app and matched with a painting of David and Goliath so I knew how eerily accurate it was.)
Canberra Liberal Mark Parton kicked us off by generously donating this selfie.
It turns out Malcolm Turnbull, one of Canberra's most prolific selfie-takers, bears a striking resemblance to US founding father Benjamin Franklin - as this painting in the White House attests.
This is getting spooky now.
And in the local levels of government, we also have our fair share of masterpieces.
Just a few more weeks and our Chief Minister could easily pass for a Grand Duke of Russia...
As it turns out, Google is not amused by attempts to trick the app into giving you the artwork you want (ie The Scream). So instead, here's our patron saint of tennis Nick Kyrgios.
Outside the sporting world, David Pocock's golden curls can be found in the Royal Museums of Fine Arts in Belgium.
