However, the Tuggeranong resident said she was worried the suburb would be disrupted through a trial of drone delivery.
Project Wing is testing the delivery of food and medication to homes through the use of drones in Bonython, as part of an expansion of trials conducted in Royalla.
Drones will deliver items to backyards in the suburb using winches, hovering at five metres high.
While Project Wing is only testing in Bonython at this stage, it's set to expand into other Tuggeranong suburbs in the future, an area of concern for Mrs Stokker.
"At some stage, these drones are going to have to go over our houses, and some could fall out of the sky. What goes up must come down," she said.
"I'm not concerned just about Bonython, I'm concerned about the greater Tuggeranong area and that this impact is going to affect our daily lives."
The Bonython resident said many in the area were worried about the noise involved with the project, as well as safety concerns.
Project Wing co-lead James Ryan Burgess said despite concerns from some residents, there had been positive reactions to the project.
"As with any new technology, people are naturally curious about how it works and how it will impact their community," he said.
"Over the last eight months, Project Wing has worked closely with local residents and organisations at our test sites in Fernleigh Park, Royalla and Bonython to understand how delivery drones can contribute positively to their everyday lives."
After a test event in Bonython earlier this year, Project Wing will conduct more drone deliveries in the area.
"We'll be starting to test with a small number of households in Bonython, and plan to increase our delivery testing to other suburbs in Tuggeranong after that," a spokeswoman for the company said.
The spokeswoman said the program had been working closely with the Civil Aviation Safety Authority (CASA) for flight-testing approval.
A CASA spokesman said the authority had received complaints from some residents in the Bonython area relating to the drone trials.
"The trials are subject to ongoing CASA scrutiny," the spokesman said.
"The current trial at Bonython is limited to a small number of properties adjacent to a reserve and the drones are not flying over other properties.
"CASA has not yet approved any further drone operations in Tuggeranong as part of the trial and will not until all relevant safety issues are appropriately addressed."
