A Braddon-based naturopath is facing a 15-year jail sentence for manufacturing cannabis oil and tincture at his clinic and selling it to dozens of patients.

Police raided the Total Health Clinic, a naturopath, chiropractic and wellness service, in November last year.
Inside the Torrens Street building, they found a significant collection of bottles of cannabis oil and tincture, an alcoholic extract of cannabis, which is usually used in droplets orally.
Beneath a desk in the office of naturopath Ryan Franzi, 39, they found about 700 grams of cannabis in a cooler bag.
A police statement of facts suggests Franzi was cooperative during the search.
He admitted he had used the cannabis to make oil and tincture.
This, he said, was then sold on to patients.
He even handed over documentation recording sales of 20 bottles of tincture and 22 bottles of oil to customers.
The tincture was sold for $120 a bottle, while the oil went for $200.
Franzi also described to police in detail how he made the oil, a process that took about six hours, and the tincture, which took about four hours.
He told police he did not know where cannabis had come from, but admitted he'd been using the spare room to manufacture the products.
Franzi is now facing two charges of manufacturing a controlled drug for selling.
That makes him liable for a 15-year maximum jail sentence.
Franzi appeared in the ACT Magistrates Court last week, pleading guilty to the two charges.
He was committed to the ACT Supreme Court for sentencing.
Police said they found 15 bottles of oil in the fridge, as well as one large 250ml bottle labelled "hemp oil".
A further 17 medium-sized bottles of tincture were found in the same fridge.
Franzi is the son of the owner of the Total Health Clinic, according to court documents.
Franzi will appear in the ACT Supreme Court later this month.
