Canberra's Callum McPhie - now known across cyberspace as the heavy metal kid from Australia's Got Talent - is starting to experience just a taste of the rock 'n' roll lifestyle since his blistering appearance on the talent show.

"He was mobbed by three girls in a book shop," his mum, Melissa Freeman, said.
"You can't really be mobbed by three girls mum," the 10-year-old said, with just a hint of exasperation.
But Callum's not denying, he doesn't mind the attention as fans young and old stop to talk to him and ask for a selfie or two.
"I feel a tiny bit giddy and a tiny bit pleased with myself that anyone would take the time to scream, 'Oh my god! It's you!," he said, deadpan.
And then there was his performance of Master of Puppets by Metallica at his school assembly.
"The kids went pretty crazy," Callum's dad Doug McPhie confirmed.
The pint-sized heavy metal virtuoso will appear in the semi-finals of Australia's Got Talent on Sunday night.
Among his competitors for a place in the grand final is a dancing dog, "Australia's funniest housewife" and a dance crew.
Young Callum does have a secret weapon up his sleeve - a guitar teacher. In Paris. Who also coaches Tina S. As is the French teenager guitar sensation who regularly gets millions of hits for her covers on YouTube of heavy metal classics.
Once Callum secured his spot on Australia's Got Talent, Doug approached the teacher in France - . Renaud Louis-Servais - and emailed him a video of Callum's guitar playing. Louis-Servais agreed to take him on and they now conduct their lessons between Canberra and Paris via Skype.
Doug, also a guitar teacher who had previously schooled Callum., said Louis-Servais was taking the young boy to the next level.
"He has a really good manner and he can hear things in the music I can't hear. It's incredible," he said.
Doug and Melissa say they have not put any pressure on Callum - they are just trying to find an outlet for his incredible passion for heavy metal guitar playing, something he's been doing since he was four.
"We certainly have no desire to push him to do anything he doesn't want to do," Melissa said.
Callum is in year seven at a north Canberra school which his parents say has been "incredibly supportive".
He should be in year five but has skipped a couple of years due to his advanced intelligence. He is also a member of Mensa.
Melissa said Callum was always a fast learner saying his first word at four months - "bird" - and saying the names of about 30 animals by the time he was eight months. By first grade he'd read all the Harry Potter books.
"But not Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix, that's sooo boring," Callum said, sounding like any other 10-year-old.
