It's been more than 18 months since Kurt Steel was tragically killed when a tourist bus he was on overturned on a sightseeing trip in Bolivia.

But for friends of the popular ACT government media adviser, who was only 25, the pain is still just as raw.
Local band Lavers have dedicated a new song Coast to Coast to their friend. The band's lead singer Dominic Lavers said when Kurt died, "it felt like the whole of Canberra stopped".
"Everyone I spoke to about Kurt always referred to him as the future Prime Minister of Australia because he was that kind of guy, he was so likeable, everyone loved him, I've never heard anyone say a bad word about him," he said.
Dominic went to college and then university with Kurt, and was one of hundreds who packed out the Playhouse at Canberra Theatre in September 2014 at Kurt's funeral service. Dominic also performed their track Our Little Empire with his brother Sebastian Lavers on the day.
"Just seeing everyone coming together around Kurt was a real testament to Kurt and I really hope it made and continues to make his family proud.
"His life was just cut way too short, way too soon, and it's really left a hole in Canberra in a lot of people that I think will never be filled."
Coast to Coast is an upbeat, summery track which was written to "capture Kurt's positive spirit".
"It is a sad song but I wanted to reflect Kurt's personality in that it is upbeat, it is a summery tune and I do kind of have images of friends driving on a sunny afternoon just having fun and living in the moment. So to me it really evokes that really positive attribute that he had."
The song is on Lavers' debut album Thought I Was King, which is out now.
"I hope these kind of gestures can go some way to making [Kurt's parents] Jayne and Phillip and his family really be proud of what Kurt achieved, because I still think of Kurt all the time, and I know a lot of people are the same," he said.
