The program features more than 500, eight-minute episodes that can be played at the beginning of the school day to get 3-5 year-olds dancing and learning while they play.

The video launch was part of the Canberra Investment Showcase in Singapore where 15 startups presented to potential investors.

Skoolbo chief executive and founder Shane Hill said the event opened up potential strategic partnerships in South East Asia.

"We are looking for organisations who share our vision and can help expand our reach," Mr Hill said.

"We experienced a very strong response, both on the day and in the follow-up days in Singapore. We will now continue those conversations."

Mr Hill said Preschool Play had a huge potential audience.

"We've already filmed our Mandarin version and this will release in China in June," he said.

"We are in discussions relating to doing the show in Indonesian and Vietnamese.

"Preschool Play will be distributed through multiple channels including direct to preschools, YouTube, Facebook and traditional TV."

Skoolbo's flagship reading and maths software is used by more than 50,000 primary schools worldwide.

ACT chief minister Andrew Barr, who attended the showcase, said the success of Skoolbo highlights the importance of supporting innovators and entrepreneurs.

"Skoolbo has benefited from the CBR Innovation Network, established by the ACT Government with Canberra's leading tertiary institutions to foster and support local startups," Mr Barr said.

"It's important that the ACT Government continues to diversify our economy, particularly by playing to our strengths in education, research and innovation."
