Police have arrested a 51-year-old Canberra man who committed an indecent act in Young.

Young detectives arrested the man last week in relation to an incident that occurred on February 20, 2017.
It is alleged the man exposed himself to a teenage girl as she walked across Main Street, Young.
Cootamundra LAC Sergeant Kristin Marshall said after assistance from a number of local businesses, a man was identified through CCTV footage which led to his arrest.
"The male was interviewed by Detectives where he admitted to exposing himself to the teenage girl" she said.
She said he was charged with committing an act of indecency with a person under 16 years.
The man was granted conditional bail including restrictions on entering the town and is set to appear before Young Local Court on April 4.
Sergeant Marshall said the arrest was due to collaboration between detectives and concerned community members and businesses.
"Police rely on the on-going support and information provided by the community to make these kinds of arrests," she said.
Sergeant Marshall said the police appreciate any information given to them, no matter how insignificant it may originally seem.
"Sometimes, investigations become protracted and may take longer than the community may expect, but rest assured, the police followed every line of enquiry and sorted through hours of CCTV footage," she said.
"We do this to not only gather information, but ensure any piece of evidence is able to be tested and relied upon in court."
