Mr Fluffy asbestos has extended its reach into the most prestigious of Canberra's streets, with five Mr Fluffy homes to be demolished in Mugga Way, and will leave parts of the city scarred.
Bulldozers will roll through nine houses in Hawker Street, in Torrens, the street with the most Mr Fluffy houses.
The release of the 1022 Mr Fluffy addresses today and the end of the buyback offer yesterday mark milestones in the asbestos crisis, sparked two years ago when Yarralumla resident Mark Harradine raised the alert.
- While Mr Fluffy houses are spread throughout the city, one trend clear in today's list of addresses is the concentrations of houses in some streets and pockets of some suburbs.

Michael Ennis is set to join the NSW team as soon as Thursday after the Blues were given approval to use a loophole that would enable him to serve a one-match suspension with Cronulla before next week's Origin series decider.
While NSW coach Laurie Daley is prepared to give hooker Robbie Farah every chance to prove he can play with a broken hand, Ennis is on standby regardless of the outcome of his judiciary case and Blues captain Paul Gallen said the Maroons were in no position to complain after poaching Greg Inglis and other players from outside Queensland.

7am: Emergency crews are at a car crash at the corner of Canberra Avenue and Sturt Avenue in Griffith at the roundabout.
The southbound and northbound inner lanes of the Monaro Highway, between Pialligo Avenue and Ski Lane (the Water Ski Club access road) are temporarily closed to allow for construction of the southbound Monaro Highway on-ramp associated with the Majura Parkway project.

From a classroom in the Philippines a group of smiling children have crooned their way onto stages across Asia, Europe, the United States, and now Canberra.
The Loboc Children's Choir arrived in the capital this week and warmed up their vocal chords at the Philippine embassy in Yarralumla on Tuesday before a performance of their musical Bohol Rising.
