Do you remember Cooper? He was the last dog left behind at the RSPCA after its record-breaking $20 adoption drive in February.

Well, we have some good news. Cooper has found his forever home with Bill Peisley from Queanbeyan.

Hawker Street in Torrens already has the dubious distinction of having the largest number of Mr Fluffy blocks of any street in Canberra. Now, it may also prove to be the most lucrative for the ACT government.

Believe it or not, nine cleared remediated blocks are selling, or have sold for, a combined $7.67 million in the sought-after street, which sits below Mount Taylor.

Two of the blocks have price tags of least $1 million, each backing on to the reserve.

If you've driven past the Australian War Memorial in the last week you will have seen preparations for Anzac Day coming together.

About 150 staff and volunteers are working feverishly to set up for this year's services.

Australian War Memorial assistant director Anne Bennie said it was predicted up to 50,000 people would come to the dawn service, with as many as 10,000 attending the national service later in the morning.

Here's a heartwarming story for you.

At 25 weeks pregnant, Yvonne Doreski woke up feeling great. She was happy to have the severe morning sickness of her first trimester behind her.

But just a few hours later, that feeling had changed. Mrs Doreski had pain and pelvic pressure but initially "didn't think anything of it". She ended up in hospital, on complete bed rest. Then tiny Angelina came along.

She shares her story with Kimberley Le Lievre and says mothers-to-be should know the risks of pre-term labor and what to look out.

Eamonn Tiernan reports the Brumbies have blown a golden opportunity to make ground in the Australian conference after losing to the Argentina Jaguares.

The Brumbies had the chance to turn their year around but instead delivered one of their worst performances of the season.
