Canberra photographer Stella-Rae Zelnik taps into motorbike culture in her new show at M16

When someone has a name like Stella-Rae, it's hard to know what to expect. But, after seeing her work, it's perhaps not surprising that she's, at the age of 27, an avowed tomboy, a photographer with a long-time preoccupation with traditional images of masculinity. Skateboarders, motorbikes, signet rings – there's something about the aesthetic that appeals to her.
