Canberra radio host Tanya Hennessy is continuing to see her star rise and rise - this time nominated for a Cosmopolitan Women of the Year Award.

Hennessy has been recognised as a finalist in the Performer of the Year category.
She is up against singer Samantha Jade, Wentworth actress Nicole da Silva, Home and Away actress Pia Miller and 13 Reasons Why actress Katherine Langford.
Hennessy is the only Canberran represented in her category and has an army of online supporters so fingers-crossed we can get her that gong.
"I'm thrilled to be nominated," she said.
"I can't believe I'm in a category next to so many talented women. I'm stoked and also hungry."
Hennessy, one half of the breakfast crew for 104.7, has had a stellar year, reaching a massive worldwide audience through her very funny - and brutally honest - YouTube videos on everything from her everyday make-up tutorials to "things people say to personal trainers" to "things people say to teachers".
She was recently enlisted by the bods at Northern Territory tourism for its "Get Out of the State You're In" campaign by encouraging people to head north, basically by bagging Sydney with a "Things Sydney People Never Say" video.
And there were so many fantastic one-liners in it - we loved the one about the poser at The Grounds of Alexandria cafe promising they didn't want a table for one just to post something on Instagram.
Hennessy, who has always worn her heart on her sleeve, told her nearly 900,000 Facebook followers that owed her success to them.
"I'm so so grateful to you guys. I owe you everything. Thank you," she posted.
"I'm crying whilst writing this in gratitude."
She later told us: "People who support me are amazing. I feel so overwhelmed by their love".
(And as an aside, Channel Nine sports reporter Julie Snook has been nominated in the Cosmopolitan TV Personality of the Year category. Her nemesis in the infamous jacketgate video that went viral, Amber Sherlock, has not been nominated. Canberra will always claim Snook as one of their own because she got her start in media in the national capital, including as a newsreader on MIX 106.3, the sister station of 104.7.)
The winners of the Cosmo awards will be announced in October.
