One of the alleged attackers, her brother, Nader Nader Takaloomanish, pleaded not guilty in the ACT Magistrates Court to a charge of assault occasioning actual bodily harm.

The pleas matched that entered on Saturday by his son, Jermaine Takalubegash, 19, who is also facing one count of assault occasioning actual bodily harm.

The family matriarch, Zahra Sangdoust, 81, did not enter a plea when she appeared in court on the same charge last Friday.

The prosecution did not oppose bail when Takaloomanish appeared before Chief Magistrate Lorraine Walker on Monday.

Defence lawyer Kamy Saeedi told the court both Takaloomanish and Takalubegash had provided statements to the police on the alleged incident at Gungahlin last Thursday.

A statement of facts was not tendered during proceedings on Friday or Monday. But on Saturday, during a bail application by Takalubegash, the court heard witnesses reported a dispute broke out between Sangdoust and the alleged victim, her daughter, after a brick had been thrown through a display screen of a Gungahlin real estate agency about 5.15pm.

Documents tendered during Saturday's proceedings said Sangdoust allegedly assaulted her daughter with a shovel before she had been pulled to the ground by her brother, Takaloomanish, who also punched her.

While she was on the ground, Takalubegash is alleged to have hit his aunt with a baseball bat.

Mr Morrison granted the defendant bail, with conditions including he not visit the suburb of Phillip, where the aunt lives.

Chief Magistrate Walker granted Takaloomanish bail on Monday with the same conditions.

The pair will next face court in February.
