A 50-year-old Canberra man will face court after he was allegedly caught driving with a breath alcohol level of more than six times the legal limit.

Police said the Latham man was stopped along Blackall Street in Barton for a random breath test about 6.30pm on January 19.
"After providing a positive roadside screening test, the man was taken into police custody for a breath analysis," ACT Policing said in a statement on Wednesday.
"The man provided a breath analysis of 0.304 grams of alcohol per 210 litres of breath."
The man's licence was immediately suspended. He will be summonsed to the ACT Magistrates Court on a level four drink driving charge at a later date.
The officer in charge of traffic operations, Station Sergeant Marcus Boorman, said it was the responsibility of all drivers to be safe on the roads.
"Drivers who are impaired on our roads not only put their lives at risk but also the lives of all road users," he said.
"[It's] very simple, if you drink, don't drive. Don't take the risk".
