Car crash blocks traffic on Kingsford Smith Drive

Emergency services were called to the crash at the Spalding Street intersection in Flynn just before 7pm.

The collision has closed part of the road.

An ACT Policing spokesman said police were diverting traffic onto Spalding Street.

An Emergency Services Agency spokesman said paramedics were treating a man in his 40s who sustained a back injury.

A woman in her 50s is also being treated for minor injuries.

The spokesman said the man and woman would be taken to the Canberra Hospital.
