Our warmest season has proved inspirational, with some stunning shots already submitted to The Canberra Times summer photo competition.
Brian James photographed a gorgeous sunrise at Port Macquarie, while Graham Hine captured a moment in time at Manuka Pool.
The competition gives budding snappers the chance to have their favourite shots published for everybody to enjoy, with prizemoney up for grabs.
Last year's winner, Watson's Tom Corra, captured some friends drinking wine and fishing on a beach near Moruya. He said he had entered the competition on a couple of occasions before taking out the prize.
For your chance to win, all you have to do is snap one of those magic summer moments and send it in to The Canberra Times.
First prize is $500, second $300, and third $200. A selection of entries will be published in The Canberra Times and on canberratimes.com.au throughout the summer holidays.
Photographers must send their snaps, attached as jpeg files, to photocomp@canberratimes.com.au.
The images must be a minimum of 150Kb and a maximum of 1MB. There is a maximum of three photos per person.
The competition closes at 4pm on January 20.
