A fire in a Tuggeranong duplex caused an estimated $200,000 damage in the early hours of Sunday morning.

The Emergency Services Agency said ACT Fire & Rescue received multiple triple zero calls about the fire in Allcot Place, Conder about 4am.
Firefighters contained the fire to one side of the duplex, which sustained extensive damage including into the roof space.
"There was no one home when firefighters arrived on scene. Occupants of the adjacent unit safely self evacuated themselves," the agency said in a statement.
Firefighters knocked down the fire by 5am, and then worked to extinguish a number of hot spots throughout the property.
"The cause of the fire is unknown at this time but will be investigated," the agency said.
