ACT Parks and Conservation will set fire to parts of Mount Painter at Cook, Simpson Hill at Chisholm and Cooleman Ridge at Chapman.
Temporary smoke cover is expected in the area and ACT Parks advised the public not to use the fire trails.
ACT Parks said the public should not be alarmed if they saw stumps or heavy logs continue to burn after personnel left the scene.
People with asthma or respiratory conditions were advised not to perform vigorous exercise around the affected areas.
