A Cook man will fight allegations he raped a woman he offered to help outside a Civic nightclub last month.

Kerry Roy Bye, 24, entered pleas of not guilty in the ACT Magistrates Court on Tuesday to three counts of sexual intercourse without consent, committing an act of indecency without consent, and sex assault second degree.
Defence lawyer Toni Tu'ulakitau asked the matter be adjourned until next year so the brief of evidence could be served on his client.
Bye's bail was continued and the matter will return to court in February.
Court documents, filed during a bail hearing last month, said Bye had offered to call a taxi to help a woman outside a nightclub after she had vomited a number of times.
The 19-year-old woman sent a coded text to a friend to indicate someone creepy had approached them.
Bye is alleged to have taken the woman back to his Cook home in a taxi.
She allegedly awoke to discover him assaulting her and tried to resist.
But Bye allegedly held her by the throat so she could not breathe until she stopped resisting and said: "Are you going to be good?"
Court documents said he later hit her in the head twice, called her a "s---" and "b----", pulled her hair, and said he enjoyed it when she screamed at him to stop.
The woman allegedly managed to escape after one of Bye's friends knocked on the door, running from the premises naked except for her socks.
She told the friend that Bye had raped her and he returned to the unit to get her clothing.
While she waited, a passerby stopped to help and later drove her home.
Bye allegedly told the friend that the pair had not had sex as he had interrupted them.
Court documents said a medical examination of the woman at the Canberra Hospital revealed a number of injuries consistent with sex.
Bye was arrested and charged in November.
