ACT Policing is investigating the theft of $25,000 worth of copper fibre optic cables from a Campbell work site over the weekend.

Between 3pm Friday and 10.30am Monday, two 40-metre lengths of Huber Suhner fibre optic cable and two 30-metre Andrew Heliax copper feeder cable were taken.
The items were stolen from a work site on the corner of Morshead Drive and the lake side of Staff Cadet Avenue.
Police are urging anyone who may have witnessed the theft to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000, or via www.act.crimestoppers.com.au; information can be provided anonymously.
Police have used the incident to remind construction workers to be vigilant by keeping an eye out for suspicious activity and always securing valuables with fencing.
