A cyclist in his 50s was taken to hospital with head injuries after a collision with a bus in Acton.

The collision happened shortly after 8.30am on Wednesday morning at the corner of Barry Drive and Clunies Ross Street, and the city-bound bus lane on Barry Drive remained closed as of 9.10am.
The male cyclist was treated for head injuries at the scene, before being taken to Canberra Hospital where he remained in a critical but stable condition on Wednesday evening.
On Thursday afternoon, the patient's condition was reported as stable.
Another ambulance took a female bus passenger, also in her 50s, to Calvary Hospital after she experienced chest pain after the collision.
The woman did not require admission and was sent home.
