A Canberra detainee who ran naked and laughing around the prison was refused bail in the ACT Supreme Court this week.

Nicholas Parlov, 23, is in custody and has pleaded not guilty to a charge of arson that's alleged to have happened in 2014.
Prosecutors opposed Parlov's release on bail and tendered to the court his disciplinary record from the Alexander Maconochie Centre.
In an incident one July evening, a corrections officer saw Parlov "running up the dayroom stairs fully naked and laughing and then onto the top landing" of the remand unit.
It says he has been warned about this behaviour three times.
On one occasion, Parlov said words to the effect of, "I don't care, I got nothing else to do," when told he would be charged with a breach of discipline, the record says.
He also claimed ownership of a phone charger after corrections officers found it wrapped in plastic and hidden in a bag of flour.
Parlov applied for bail this week through lawyer Paul Smith.
Because the alleged arson happened while he was on bail for an earlier charge of property damage, Parlov needed to show special or exceptional circumstances to be granted bail this time.
Mr Smith said the court had dealt with the 2012 property damage charge nearly two-and-a-half years ago, and Parlov had already completed a 12-month good behaviour order.
"Not only is there a substantial gap in dealing with that charge, it's a matter that's well resolved," Mr Smith said in the application for bail.
But prosecutor Anthony Williamson said there was nothing special or exceptional about the fact the man had served his sentence.
He said if released, Parlov was a risk of pressuring the Crown's key witness in relation to the arson charge. He also said the man had breached bail conditions on multiple occasions.
"[There's] absolutely no way that bail conditions would mitigate any risks," Mr Williamson told the court.
Associate Justice David Mossop dismissed the bail application on Thursday, saying the fact it had already been dealt with was not special or exceptional but circumstances that "commonly arise".
Parlov was committed to the Supreme Court for trial in August.
