The Palmerston woman was seen driving dangerously throughout Canberra's north on Sunday afternoon.
After a number of reports from the public, officers stopped the car at 1.15pm on Redcliffe Street in Palmerston.
The driver returned a positive blood alcohol screening test and was taken to the Gungahlin Police Station, where she returned a reading of 0.324.
The woman will face the ACT Magistrates Court at a later date and was issued with an immediate suspension notice.
Gungahlin station sergeant Rod Anderson thanked the public for reporting the driver.
"It was through this timely and accurate information that police were able to stop this dangerous behaviour," he said.
"We would like to remind the public that if you see any dangerous activity on our roads, to contact ACT Policing Operations on 131 444."
