A man has been remanded in custody after police charged him with driving unlicensed while on bail for allegedly driving at 130km/h in an 80km/h zone.

The 36-year-old man faced the ACT Magistrates Court on Saturday charged with driving while disqualified after his arrest on Good Friday.
Prosecutor David Swan told the court that the defendant was on bail awaiting a May 2 hearing to answer an earlier speeding charge.
That charge, of allegedly driving 50km/h over the speed limit, was itself in breach of an 18-month licence disqualification imposed in September last year upon the man's conviction for another driving-related offence.
Mr Swan opposed bail and said he believed the prior criminal history meant "that the court will not be satisfied that he will not reoffend".
The defence said the man would not offer any explanation for his alleged behaviour, but said refusing bail could result in his losing a job he would rely on in order to move to NSW.
Magistrate Lisbeth Campbell said the man's bail conditions explicitly prohibited driving.
"There's no explanation for why he was driving at 5am, not even for this job," she said.
"In the circumstances he clearly posed a risk to the community."
Bail was refused and the man will return to court on Friday.
The man was one of three people to face court for traffic offences after Easter police patrols began.
Two men arrested for drink driving, one with a blood alcohol reading of 0.135 and the other for 0.151, were remanded in custody to face court again later this month.
Double demerit points have been in force in the ACT since Thursday and will continue until midnight on Monday.
A second period will run during the Anzac Day long weekend, from Friday, April 21 to Tuesday, April 25.
ACT Policing acting officer in charge of traffic operations, Station Sergeant Marcus Boorman said there was no excuse for speeding on the territory's roads at any time of year.
"The fact is that many fatal and serious traffic collisions that occur on Canberra roads each year are directly attributable to motorists who exceed the posted speed limit," he said.
"Speeding reduces a driver's reaction time, their ability to control the vehicle and lengthens stopping distances, which increases the likelihood and severity of a collision."
