The ACT Supreme Court jury deliberating a verdict in the trial of accused murderer David Harold Eastman was sent home about 3pm on Tuesday.

The 12 men and women had discussed the case all Tuesday until they were called back into court at about 2.15pm.
Acting Justice Murray Kellam noted it had been a long day and that a juror had an appointment that afternoon.
He suggested they leave for home at 3pm and return to the jury room on Wednesday.
The judge thanked the members for their consideration of the case and also expressed his confidence that they were working through the issues.
Mr Eastman, 73, has pleaded not guilty to murdering Australian Federal Police Assistant Commissioner Colin Winchester at about 9.15pm on January 10, 1989.
The jury retired about 10.30am last Wednesday.
On Monday, the jury sent a note to the court saying they had been unable to reach a unanimous verdict and asked the judge for advice.
The judge said he had the power to discharge them without a verdict.
But he encouraged them to continue deliberating as experience showed that with more time a jury can come to a unanimous verdict.
He also warned the jury members that if they could not honestly agree, they must give effect to their own view of the evidence.
