Edgar's Inn will reopen on Thursday afternoon after dangerous loose fill asbestos was removed from above the Ainslie pub and cafe.

WorkSafe ACT announced on Monday the plastic casing surrounding Shop 1 at Ainslie shops would be removed after the site received the all-clear from a licensed asbestos assessor.
The work was on the first floor offices and roof space. Edgar's Inn is on the ground floor.
Work Safety Commissioner Greg Jones said the work had been completed without any incidents or abnormal air monitoring results.
"This has been a good result with Caylamax, WorkSafe and the shop owner also working to reduce disruption to other tenants and customers during the works," he said.
"I'd like to thank tenants and the community for their patience while these important works took place."
Internal structural surfaces of the building home have been sprayed with a hard-wearing bonding adhesive until future demolition of the premise.
An updated asbestos management plan will be prepared for the site.
It is the second commercial building in Canberra to be tainted by the Mr Fluffy crisis after a childcare centre closed due to the potential risk to families.
Investigations earlier this year revealed the Fluffy asbestos had migrated into the building next to the pub, which houses a newsagency, laundromat and therapeutic massage business.
Similar asbestos remediation works will take place for buildings 3 and 5 at the Ainslie shops early next year.
