An electrical fault sparked an overnight fire which caused $20,000 of damage at the Tuggeranong Indoor Sports Centre.
A smoke alarm triggered firefighters to attend the sports centre on Cowlishaw Street shortly after 12am on Tuesday, where a large amount of smoke was visible outside the building.
The fire took hold in the wall cavity near courts three and four before spreading to a section of the roof, an ACT Emergency Services spokesperson said.

Firefighters were forced to knock down sections of the wall to access the fire.
Crews extinguished the fire and ventilated the building before leaving the scene.
