Fairbairn Avenue will be closed between Northcott Drive and Majura Road Thursday night to allow for further bridge construction works as part of the Majura Parkway project.

The section of road will be closed from 6.30pm Thursday until 5am Friday.
Westbound traffic travelling from Majura Road and the airport will be diverted onto Pialligo Avenue, Morshead Drive, Parkes Way and Anzac Parade, reconnecting at Fairbairn Avenue.
Eastbound traffic coming from Limestone Avenue will be diverted onto Anzac Parade, Parkes Way, Morshead Drive and Pialligo Avenue, then onto Fairbairn Avenue.
Traffic travelling north onto the Majura Parkway will have access from Tambreet Street via Majura Road.
Southbound traffic on the Majura Parkway will not be affected.
Barriers and warning and diversion signs will be installed.
