A Canberra woman was arrested on Friday night for breaching a family violence order despite having never been served notice.

The ACT Magistrate's Court heard on Saturday morning ACT Policing stopped the woman near the home of her victim under suspicion she'd breached a family violence order.
The court heard police believed the woman to be under the influence of drugs with documents showing she became more aggressive with police, swaying on her feet and frothing at the mouth.
Police checked their records after handcuffing the woman and realised she had not been served with the order.
The court also heard on Saturday that the address the woman was supposed to be served notice of the order was actually the victim's address.
She was instead charged with breaching the peace and held overnight in the ACT Policing watchhouse where she was served notice of the order.
Court document said when told she could be released if she promised to "keep the Queen's Peace" she continued to threaten the victim under the order.
The woman was released on bail and under conditions of the family violence order.
