A fire burning east of the Corin Dam was contained on Tuesday afternoon by the ACT Rural Fire Service and the ACT Parks and Conservation Service.

Fire crews and two helicopters would continue to patrol the area, the Emergency Services Agency said.
The fire, which burnt slowly in a south-westerly direction, started on Saturday and grew to approximately 24 hectares in size.
Firefighters have had to trek about two kilometres to reach the fire front, mostly using hand held tools.
The fire is located east of Corin Dam. The Corin Dam Rd west of Woods Reserve has been closed until further notice although the Woods Reserve camping area remains open.
The Bushfire Alert and Warning Level remains at "advice".
