The blaze broke out near the Tuggeranong Parkway, opposite the Mount Taylor Nature Reserve.

It's estimated 2.5 hectares of land were burnt by the fire.
A spokesman for the ACT ESA confirmed a pumper, heavy tanker, medium tanker, a light tanker and a commander were dispatched to fight the blaze.
Fire fighters will remain at the scene to monitor the situation.
