Designer cubby houses and a reflection wall covered in poppies will help raise money for Canberra charities at this year's Floriade.

The Returned and Services League of Australia ACT and the Independent Property Group Foundation were announced on Wednesday as Floriade 2015's charity partners.
RSL ACT branch president Peter Eveille said it was like winning the lottery.
"It's going to be a huge boost for our support that we can [give to] the families of veterans," he said. "The money side is one thing but the awareness of the RSL itself and the work that it does is also very important."
At the reflection wall, visitors can make a donation to place a poppy on the display. The money raised will go to the RSL ACT's community work.
"By the end of Floriade, hopefully, we'll have a wall that overflows with poppies and really gives that true meaning of reflection," Mr Eveille said.
Last year, the Independent Property Group Foundation raised $45,000 for Canberra's Boundless Playground and the Centenary Hospital for Women and Children.
"Hopefully, this year will be bigger and better," the group's chief executive, John Runko, said, with money raised in 2015 going to the Canberra Hospital Foundation and Lifeline.
The foundation has four cubby houses for children to enjoy at this year's festival, including a Lego cafe, a jailhouse and a Japanese-inspired house.
The Lego cubby house will be raffled while the others will be auctioned on the final weekend of Floriade.
The Japanese cubby house, complete with sunken floor, took two weeks to build, while the Lego cafe, with a sunroof, took three days to paint.
Floriade: Reflection begins on Saturday, September 12 and ends on Sunday, October 11.
