After being forced to leave their former venue back in May, the Gorman House Markets are starting up again this weekend with a new location and a new name.

The popular weekend haunt is now the Canberra City Walk Markets, and will take over Petrie Plaza between the merry-go-round and London Circuit in Civic every Saturday from 10am to 4pm.
"Canberra CBD Limited came to our rescue, particularly their CEO Jane Easthope," said market operator Cathy Lippmeier.
"We were particularly keen on staying in the city because the customers who walked in can still walk in".
The markets had been running at Gorman House since the 1980s, but finished up in May this year after the art centre's management decided not to renew the markets' operating license.
The new iteration officially kicks off this Saturday, October 24, with around 30 stalls, including seven food stalls.
"We'll also have a children's play activity there and live music over the lunch period. There's all the same faces and the same friends."
The Canberra City Walk Markets will continue to operate until late November, when they will merge with the Christmas in the City celebrations and form the Santa Claus Lane markets.
Ms Lippmeier said they're then looking to expand in size in the new year.
