The group broke into the Bruce Convenience Store on Braybrooke Street about 2.30am, police say.
A witness saw five offenders carrying a large amount of alcohol from the store before fleeing in a maroon Holden Commodore before police arrived on scene.
Police have urged anyone who may have seen or heard any suspicious activity around Braybrooke Street Thursday morning to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or via www.act.crimestoppers.com.au.
