A Gungahlin man accused of standing in the middle of the road holding a bladder of cask wine and striking a woman's car while she was inside has been refused bail.

The 33-year-old man was capsicum sprayed, arrested and charged with two counts of property damage on Friday afternoon.
Court documents said at least three motorists were forced to stop or slow down along Anthony Rolfe Drive from about 12.45pm to avoid hitting the man, who was holding a bladder of cask wine and yelling at traffic.
When the third driver, who was in a Mercedes-Benz A Class, stopped, the defendant allegedly punched the bonnet several times before walking over to the driver's side of the car and striking the window.
Officers were sent to the road after the motorist drove straight to Gungahlin Police Station, when they allegedly saw the man walk inside his house.
According to court documents, police forced their way into the house when the man refused to let them in, then capsicum sprayed him when he threatened them with the end of a broom or mop handle.
Police alleged the defendant locked himself in the bathroom and officers forced entry when the man's partner warned he could self-harm inside.
Appearing before the ACT Magistrates Court on Saturday, the defendant pleaded guilty to the property damage charge relating to the struck Mercedes.
He pleaded not guilty to the second charge, for a smashed picture frame, and contended the item belonged to him and was not of joint ownership as his partner claimed.
While presenting evidence before the court, arresting officer Sergeant Jason Dziubinski said further charges could follow and police were investigating.
The prosecution opposed bail and referred to a "substantial" criminal history across three states as well as the Northern Territory and ACT, which included assault and domestic violence.
The court heard police had been called to the man's house multiple times since he moved in with his partner last year.
"The person I saw yesterday was not someone who would [be trusted to comply with bail conditions]," Sergeant Dziubinski said.
The defence said the man would comply with an alcohol ban if released on bail.
Magistrate Robert Cook said he was not satisfied an alcohol ban would be enough to mitigate the risk of reoffending and remanded the man in custody.
He will return to court on February 7.
