A man who police say associates with bikies faced the ACT Magistrates Court on Monday after officers searched his home and allegedly found weapons and drugs.

General duties police officers had responded to an incident at Ryan Erntner's Banks home on October 6, and ACT Policing's anti-bikie gang unit Taskforce Nemesis later searched the property.
Police say they found a sawn-off rifle and ammunition, trafficable quantities of cannabis and MDMA, prescription medication and cash suspected to be proceeds of crime at the home.
Prosecutors opposed Mr Erntner's release on bail.
His Legal Aid duty lawyer told the court the man, 25, was one of five people living at the house and he denied all the cannabis was his.
He said the cash was money he had saved with his girlfriend.
The lawyer said while photographs of the man found at the home posing with guns might cause the court some concern, she said she was instructed they were toy guns from the Canberra Show.
He was "motivated to move forward with his life," the lawyer said.
He spoke briefly during the hearing and conceded his drug use had been spiralling out of control over the last month.
The court heard he had a job to go to, and the support of his family.
Special Magistrate Margaret Hunter said "against her better judgment" she would grant the man bail, but with a long list of conditions, including undergoing drug treatment and testing when required.
She warned Mr Erntner that he had to stop taking drugs.
He is charged with possessing firearms and ammunition, trafficking cannabis and MDMA, and failing to comply with storage requirements.
He has not entered pleas.
The case is due back in court November 6.
In an unrelated appearance on Monday, Shane McKay was in the ACT Magistrates Court also facing weapons and drugs charges.
Police were investigating a burglary when they searched the 38-year-old Flynn man's home on October 7. There they allegedly found five rifles, several bottles of Moet champagne and alleged drugs.
The court heard the man's next door neighbour had reported seven rifles missing after a burglary as well as alcohol and household goods.
The man told police he had found a number of guns that week in the bushes at the perimeter of his house, which backed onto a reserve, as well as ammunition, alcohol and household items.
He said he did not contact the police on finding the guns because he knew he was the subject of a warrant after failing to appear at court on an earlier charge, court documents said.
Prosecutors, pointing to the ongoing police investigation, opposed the man's release on the grounds he would interfere with evidence.
The two stolen guns that were yet to be recovered concerned Ms Hunter. "Given what's happened in America, we just don't want guns on the street," the magistrate said.
She also said the man's version of events was "implausible".
But she took into account his cooperation with police during the search warrant, the effect him being in custody would have on his two children, who he supported financially, and his criminal history.
He was released on bail on conditions that include he report three times a week to police, agree to pay $2000 if he fails to turn up to court, and that he not contact his neighbours.
Mr McKay is charged with failing to appear, unauthorised possession of firearms and ammunition, failing to comply with storage requirements and possession of MDMA and stolen property.
He did not enter pleas.
The case is due back in court on October 30.
