Pallet and Vine, an off-shoot of Queanbeyan lifestyle company boyandgirlco, will be selling the mulled wine by the cup, with all the classic spices making it literally smell and taste like winter.

The organisers of the markets have licensed the entire pavilion to ensure the wine can be sold by the glass, rather than only for tastings.

Gabrielle Petrevski, one of the builders from boyandgirlco, which among other things fashions furniture from recycled pallets, said Pallet and Vine had also used pallets to build the stall for the mulled wine at the markets.

"We've come up with a great recipe that we're keen to share with everyone," she said.

They will also be selling a take-home spice mix so you can keep the winter magic happening after the markets.

Quarry Hill Wines and Canberra by the Glass will also be selling wine by the glass. The Canberra Distillery, Catcher & Co and Baldwin Distillery will be serving spirits including gin and vodka.

Boyandgirlco will also have a stall at the markets.

And to continue with the winter theme, the markets are asking shoppers to bring along blankets, jumpers and jackets for all ages for donation to St Vincent de Paul. Bring clean items to the markets and donate them at the Vinnies stall.

The Handmade Canberra markets will be on Saturday and Sunday from 10am to 4pm at Exhibition Park in Canberra.
