But this Enlighten Night Noodle Markets, there's a way to get your hands on a whole lot of delicious food, without having to step foot in a queue.
At the Menulog At-Home Zone, which is coming to Canberra for the first time this Noodle Markets, you can order your food, then take a seat and it will be delivered to you.
Just head to the area inside the Enlighten Night Noodle Markets - look for the inflatable green couches - and find a member of the At-Home Zone team who will put through your order on an iPad.
Then take a seat at one of the giant picnic tables or the green inflatable couches, relax and wait for your order to arrive.
Food is available to order from some of the most popular stalls, including Hoy Pinoy, Chur Burger, Poklol, Spanthai, Waffleland and Zagyoza.
Entry to the At-Home Zone is free, and it's open every night of the markets.
