A Canberra man in an apparent ice-induced psychosis is accused of embarking on a bizarre, violent and dangerous crime spree before being arrested shirtless on the Monaro Highway.

Police will allege that 32-year-old David Anthony King attacked several members of the public on Sunday, forcing one to raise an axe to defend himself, before stealing one of their cars.
It's alleged Mr King then drove onto the Monaro Highway in Hume where he swerved in front of a cyclist and caused the cyclist to hit the car.
Mr King, who works as a plumber, exited the car where it's alleged he hit the cyclist and started to abuse two people who had pulled over to help the fallen rider.
Police say Mr King pulled down his pants and began playing with himself while walking into traffic and attempting to wave down cars.
Witnesses to the chain of events reported Mr King was incoherent and rambling about children and God.
Police said when they arrived at about 12.25pm they saw a shirtless male running past Rose Cottage and shortly after arrested him.
Documents tendered in court show the incident started at about 12pm Sunday when it's alleged Mr King approached three men - one known to him - at an industrial site in Hume.
Police will allege Mr King assaulted one of the man with a closed fist to the back of his head, then started to walk back and forth beating his chest and rambling nonsensical things.
Mr King allegedly put his arm around one man and said, "Mate, we've got to look after the kids."
With a puffed chest he allegedly approached another man and said, "The Lord, don't do anything to harm your kids" then jumped on him with his arms and legs around his torso.
Mr King is said to have then jumped on the man and grabbed his neck while wrapping his legs around the man's torso and making a humping motion with his hips.
The documents further allege Mr King approached the third man and assaulted him.
The alleged victim picked up an axe nearby and raised it above his head yelling "don't come any closer" before Mr King fell to his knees and started whimpering.
Mr King is said to have then stood up and taken one of the men's ute before heading onto the Monaro Highway where police later arrested him.
He told police under caution that he had used methylamphetamine the day before.
At a bail hearing in the ACT Magistrates Court on Monday, a shoeless Mr King, of Gowrie, appeared briefly seeking release from custody.
But with reference to the man's stated problems with the drug ice, Magistrate Peter Morrison found his promises to seek counselling were inadequate to address the risks to the public.
He noted the very bizarre, very violent and very dangerous allegations against Mr King.
Mr Morrison refused bail.
Mr King shook his head and rested his head on his arms on the table in front of him as details of his alleged offending were aired in court.
Supporters in the public gallery left the hearing in tears.
Mr King has been charged with negligent driving, four counts of common assault, indecent exposure, drug driving and aggravated dangerous driving.
He did not enter pleas and will reappear at a later date.
