The rescue helicopter and paramedics were deployed to the Booroomba Rocks incident after a 000 call in the early afternoon.

Several ACT Rural Fire Service crews provided back-up in case the man needed to be carried out.
The 40-year-old was winched out by the chopper and flown to hospital in a stable condition with suspected leg injuries.
