Tourism Research Australia's international visitor survey shows that tourists spent a record $535 million in the ACT during the year to June 2017, an annual increase of $115 million.

The number of tourists visiting the ACT each year has increased by 9.1 per cent to 221,479.
Visitors from China accounted for 21.3 per cent of all tourists, followed by the United Kingdom (10.6 per cent), the United States (9.3 per cent) and New Zealand (6.8 per cent).
