A 47-year-old man has been charged with several offences after allegedly stealing a car, cash and other items before breaking a window and biting a man who chased him.

Police say the man took a car key from a business in Mitchell on Thursday, then returned later that night and stole the car.
Police will allege the man stole cash and items from a Fyshwick business on Friday, before leaving in the stolen car.
On Saturday, a member of the public saw the car parked outside another Fyshwick business and called the police.
Police say that when they arrived, the man ran through the business' garage and into an office, then smashed a window and tried to escape as police tried to get into the office.
Several bystanders and police chased the man, who allegedly bit one of the bystanders when they caught up with him.
The 47 year old was arrested and taken to the ACT Watch House.
He was scheduled to appear in the ACT Magistrates Court on Monday morning, charged with 10 offences including two counts of possessing a prohibited substance, taking a motor vehicle without consent, unlicensed driving, assault occasioning actual bodily harm, property damage and burglary.
Police said they expected the man would face further charges at a later date.
