A man armed with a kitchen knife robbed the Braddon super market on Saturday night, police say.

ACT Policing said a man entered the store armed with a 30cm knife about 8pm and demanded cash. A staff member gave him money, and he ran away across the park opposite the store.
"A review of the CCTV shows another person accompanying the man to the store. This person doesn't enter the store, but flees the area with the man at the completion of the robbery," police said in a statement.
"The main offender is described as Caucasian, around 175-180cm in height with a thin build. At the time of the robbery he was wearing a grey coloured hooded jumper, black coloured track pants, and black coloured shoes. The man also wore a white coloured face covering."
