A teenager has been charged with several driving offences after he allegedly drove onto the kerb to avoid road spikes, then fled from police on foot.

Police said the 19-year-old man failed to stop for officers in Richardson about 12.30am on Tuesday morning.
He allegedly mounted the kerb to avoid road spikes and a police car on Chauncy Crescent, before stopping in Rohan Street and fleeing on foot.
Police detained the man's passenger, and when the driver returned to the car, he was arrested.
The car was allegedly unregistered, with the number plates from a different vehicle attached.
The teenager is due to face the ACT Magistrates Court on Tuesday, charged with failing to stop for police, reckless driving, driving having never held a licence, driving an unregistered and uninsured vehicle and using a vehicle.
