A man has been charged with the murder of a 56-year-old at Gungahlin and will front the ACT Magistrates Court on Wednesday.

Police will allege the 30-year-old man was involved in an altercation with the older man at his home in the vicinity of Hall Best Lane and Wizard Street, Gungahlin about 2am on Monday, March 11.
The older man died after suffering "critical injuries", despite attempts from police officers who performed CPR.
The 30-year-old left the residence after the incident, before being arrested a short time later near Manning Clark Crescent, police will allege.
The men are not believed to be related, but police believe they were known to each other.
Police will oppose bail when the man fronts court on March 13.
