A 21-year-old motorcyclist from Chisholm has crashed into a stationary police car after allegedly being caught speeding at 156km/h in an 80km/hr zone.

Police said they caught the motorcyclist speeding on the Monaro Highway in Hume about 4.15am Wednesday. They believe he was riding an unregistered vehicle without a license.
When directed to stop by officers, the motorcyclist lost control of his bike and crashed into the back of an Australian Federal Police car, which sustained minor damage.
ACT Ambulance services attended the scene and took the man to Canberra Hospital for observation. He sustained minor injuries from the crash.
The Chisholm man is expected to be summonsed for traffic offences including speeding, driving an unregistered vehicle and driving without a license.
