A man facing trial for alleged child sex offences has told the jury his body fluids could have been found in the bathroom.

The man, 37, who cannot be named, faces charges of sexual intercourse with a child under 10, or an act of indecency on a child and an act of indecency in the presence of a child.
The man has pleaded not guilty to all counts.
The allegations concern a child who was being babysat by the man's mother, with whom he shared a house.
The prosecution allege that DNA found in sperm and saliva in the child's nappy linked the man to claims made by the two-year-old.
The man gave evidence on Thursday and said it was possible his semen could have ended up on a towel in the bathroom.
Under questioning by prosecutor Keegan Lee, the man said he had never told that to police, despite having the opportunity.
Are you now trying to think of a way to explain how the child may have come into contact with your semen? Mr Lee asked.
The man said no, he was too embarrassed to tell police.
The court also heard from a defence DNA and forensic expert.
The expert said he could not say for sure the DNA found in the nappy came from the accused's sperm cells, based on the forensic results, as it was one of several options.
He also said under questioning by defence lawyer Paul Edmonds it was possible the sperm in the nappy ended up there after being transferred from a different surface or item.
The trial continues before Chief Justice Helen Murrell.
